How it works

Three steps from the first hello to the first song.

  1. Step 1

    Apply

    A short application on this site. Applications are read as they come in, and there is no cost to the student or the family.

  2. Step 2

    Interview

    A team member schedules a virtual or phone interview with the parent or guardian and the student. Within a few weeks the family hears the enrollment status and the assigned teacher.

  3. Step 3

    Lessons begin

    A 12-week vocal course, or weekly piano. A keyboard with at least 61 keys is all a student needs. Lessons happen over Zoom, or in person case by case.

Teach with us

Musicians: teach a kid who could not otherwise learn.

Volunteer and paid teachers give voice and piano lessons to San Antonio students, mostly over Zoom. If you teach voice or piano, we would love to meet you.
